Marijuana found in system of man who died in Pitkin County fall - The Denver Post (http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_17046261)

A 28-year-old ski-lift operator who fell to his death from a Pitkin County bridge had marijuana in his system, according to toxicology reports.
The body of George Aldrich was found on Dec. 13 after he went missing on Nov. 27.

An area resident found the body under the Maroon Creek Bridge near where Aldrich got off a bus.

The Pitkin County Coroner's office said the final toxicology report from the investigation revealed the presence of THC, according to a Saturday media release.

Aldrich also had a blood-alcohol content of 0.294 percent, which is 3 1/2 times the legal limit for driving.

An autopsy indicated Aldrich died instantly in the fall. His body was discovered about 100 feet below the bridge.

The story would only be remarkable if they found a dead lift operator without marijuana in his system.

3 1/2 times the legal alcohol limit in his system and they think that marijuana contributed to his death? Please. He would have been fine if he had skipped the booze and smoked more bud. Poor kid.

Could it be that the Denver Post gets it's paper for printing on from the Hearst holdings? That could explain their horrible bias towards marijuana.

Or maybe all the advertising revenue from the alcohol industry that could be jeapordized if they had the headline showcasing the alcohol level instead of the bold headline of THC.

The Post has always had a radical bias against MMJ, but somehow they willingly slurp up large piles of cash for MMJ advertising. Why don't these places pull their support ?
